My name is Elliott Pycroft. I am 12 years old and I am going to cycle 39 miles from London to Windsor on September 4th 2011 with my dad, to raise money for the Michala Butterfield (nee Emmett) Bursary.

Michala was my cousin and a barrister who trained at Somerville College, Oxford. At the age of 30 she was with her husband, Sam Butterfield, on her honeymoon in India when they were both tragically killed in a car accident.

The Michala Butterfield Bursary helps to fund talented female law students who would otherwise find it difficult to take up their place at Somervile College.
