New Uniform

This is purchased from the Uniform Shop at Caldicott.

Telephone - 01753-642299 or email uniform (@caldicott.com). The shop is open on Mondays 4.30-6pm and on Fridays 8.10-9am throughout the term. We recommend that you visit during opening hours but if this is not possible you can email or phone your orders and we can arrange out-of-hours collections. Messages left on the shop answerphone are checked during opening hours. We always endeavour to arrange out-of-hours appointments for new boys’ fittings, though occasionally this is not possible.

If you have a son starting at Caldicott and you need new uniform, please contact the shop to arrange an out-of-hours appointment for a fitting. In the meantime, you might find it helpful to organise your son's name tapes which in busy periods may take up to two weeks to be delivered. We require two sizes: regular and extra large (Cash's Style 16).

These can be ordered online direct with Cash's (http://www.jjcash.co.uk) , but if you would like us to order these ahead of your appointment please let us know when you contact us.

Second-Hand Uniform

Frances Stephens is in charge of the running of Second-Hand Uniform. She has been an indispensable member of the team for some time and is looking to recruit more mums who would like to join in the fun of sorting clothing and manning sales! Please contact her on 01753 889109 if you are interested.

SELLING UNIFORM - How does it work?

If you have any outgrown uniform you wish to sell, please send it into the school office. Items for sale need to have a paper label (about credit card sized) stating your name, the item description (eg. navy rugby shirt), and an indication of size/age. Items received unlabelled are considered to be 'donations' and are received very gratefully!

Items of acceptable quality are priced by us and added to our stock. When your items are sold, an 'account' is opened in your name and monies accrue as sales are held. You get 50% of the selling price and 50% goes to the school. When your account reaches about £20 we will send you a cheque. Your account is kept open until 2 years after your son leaves the school. Any unsold items of uniform still in the shop at that stage then become ' donations' or are given to charity.

The Second-Hand shop is extremely well supported by parents buying and selling, and the money we raise goes directly back into a wide range of projects within the school that support all the boys.

Please contact me if you have any questions about second-hand uniform.

I am on 01753 889109 - or ring Elaine Smith (01753 883926) if you need something between our regular sales - or leave a message in the school office.
