ENGLISH -CHARACTER PROFILES

Name L HAWLEY
Character’s Name: WILL CARTER

Age: 13 years old!

Occupation (e.g. student, plumber, builder): Criminal, although he does not seem like one to his girlfriend.

Appearance (face, body, hair etc.): His face scabbed and wretched. He also had blond hair and blue eyes like the sky in the summer. His body had never been looked at by people because he wore long ripped jeans and red and grey sweatshirts assuming that was his favourite colours.

Character (shy, outgoing, argumentative etc.) He is very smart and also stupid in some ways like spending money on wine and beer when he could buy something like some new clothes.

Anything unusual? (bad breath, limp, spots etc.)He always seems to be hiding something that no one would ever guess or be a part of. He also always seems to have money in his pocket.

5A - Midnight Door – update

Where is the story going to be set? You all are going to different places through your midnight door so it is important for us to work out: -where the story begins and - where is/are the door/s.

So how will the story start? All ideas were jotted down on rough paper and ideas were discussed.

All suggestions were effective, but we decided to go with:

Hassanal’s idea of having it start in an underground station.
Stoppsy suggested the two characters, Emily and Will, don’t know each other.
Spoons thought they could be waiting for a train that rolls into the station very slowly with its lights out.
Theo thought it would be cool for there to be no driver on the train.

These ideas were discussed, and with some guidance from JRRF, it was confirmed that maybe the train rolls in and the lights are out in every carriage apart from one set in one carriage at the end of the platform. These are the only doors that open. The bemused couple are drawn towards them and enter.
