Debate v Godstowe, Autumn 2007
Thanks to J Sturgess-Smith (12.05) for the article, and the photographs, below.
Mr Fletcher (age unknown) introducing the proceedings
The debate was set into two parts - or two separate debates. The first one was about girls having a level playing field with men. Speakers were D Jackson and J Bosson. There were a few funny and rude comments thrown around the room, and the Godstowe girls were very enthusiastic. Once the four speakers had their chance on the floor R Feinberg made a very interesting comment about the cave men and women. Godstowe just won this vote by eighteen. The next topic was about fashion shows for women being degrading. The girls gave a great speech but the boys, O and O Mirzan, came back well. One girl made a comment about how blondes aren’t dumb, and blonds F Chalmers and T Morgan struck a great pose to Mr Masterman that was caught on camera. The Godstowe girls won this vote unanimously!
D Jackson (13.00) speaking in the first debate
Clear evidence that blonds aren't dumb!
The final vote - eyes closed!
