The 5C Maths group produced some posters on areas. They were given a blank sheet of A3 squared paper and asked to create a shape of their choosing made up of triangles, rectangles, trapeziums and parallelograms. Their task was then to work out the area of their shape.

Some really excellent posters were produced but three were given Highly Commendeds for their neatness, artistic effort, mathematical correctness and use of different shapes. These were by R Lee (11.06), S Patel (12.00) and W.W. (12.02).
