Assembly: 6 Dec Print E-mail

Actually, that is a misnomer: as it was so dark and rainy this morning there were actually two assemblies, one for the Middle and Senior School and then another for the Junior School. This was to enable them to be held in Chapel, definitely the cheeriest venue on a morning like this!

The Headmaster also presented 1st XV Caps to F Chalmers and T Morgan, and complimented the Captain (F Chalmers) on his speech at the rugby dinner last night, and said how everyone had also enjoyed listening to Matt Perry.

A Peters (10.00) received a round of applause for his successful acceptance to play violin in the National Children's Orchestra.

Finally, the Headmaster reminded the Middle School boys of the arrangements for the Eton Chapel Service on Saturday. ALL day boys must come to school  at the normal time. They wear white shirts, and will then be taken to Eton by coach. Parents can then collect their son after the Service.

Boarders' parents can take their own son to Eton. Details for this have already been sent out, but they are here as well.
