First of all, congratulations and a well-deserved round of applause were given to A Spratling on his successful Sports' Scholarship to St Edwards.

The Other Awards 

Mr Summers reminded the boys about the importance of using the correct bins (those for paper and those for everything else) to "Save the Planet" - well, to do our bit, anyway!

Further, as a reward, those boys who have received Superstars or Highly Commended awards will be able to take their after-lunch rest period in the library, complete with its comfy chairs!

Mr Smith spoke to the boys, and told them that shoes and trainers must be named.  This will be checked after half term.

Finally, he reminded everyone about manners, and recommended that they demonstrate them at home over half term. Just little things like opening doors, saying Please and Thank-you can make such a difference. He has been very impressed with the boys' manners at Caldicott since he came, and explained that they are representing Caldicott at home!
