DAY BOYS AND BOARDERS - GENERAL

• 1 school blazer (5th-6th form only)
• 1 navy waxed jacket & hood (Junior School compulsory; Middle school optional; 5th-6th forms not needed) 
• 2-3 navy polo shirts (boarders require at least 3)
• 1 white long-sleeved shirt (for smart use)
• 2 navy school jumpers
• 2-3 pairs beige shorts (boarders require 3)
• 1 pair grey shorts (1st-4th form only, for smart use)
• 1 pair dark grey trousers (5th-6th form only, for smart use)
• 3-4 pairs beige ankle socks
• 1 pair long school socks with maroon tops (1st-4th form only)
• 1 pair grey socks (5th-6th form only)
• 1 school tie
• 1 Caldicott kit bag 
• 1 pair brown deck shoes (approved styles only)
• 1 pair black lace-up shoes (approved styles only)
• 1 hairbrush or comb
• Tissues or a handkerchief 
• Name tapes (large and small). These can be ordered from the Uniform Shop. Note that boarders should hand in spare name tapes to Matron. 

SPORT

• 2 white PE tops (trimmed in House colours)
• 2 pairs white PE shorts
• 1 track suit (boarders need a second pair of trousers)
• 2 pairs navy swimming trunks
• 2 pairs white ankle socks
• 1 plain white V neck cricket jumper and/or sleeveless jumper
• Cricket whites (for teams only, U10 & above, available from Uniform Shop)
• Cricket briefs and box (not 1st form, otherwise optional)
• 1 towel, taped for hanging
• 1 pair swimming goggles (optional)
• Flip flops (own choice)
• 1 pair outdoor trainers, mainly white
• 1 pair indoor trainers (available from Uniform Shop – alternatives should be mainly white and non-marking)
• 1 cricket/sun hat (not baseball)

BOARDERS ONLY

• 2 towels, taped for hanging
• 1 dressing gown
• 1 pair traditional hard-soled slippers
• 4 pairs pants
• 2 pairs pyjamas
• 1 pair socks
• 1 pair of jeans or trousers
• 1 top
• 1 warm jumper or sweatshirt
• 1 pair of trainers or shoes for weekend use (optional)
• 1 wash bag
• Toothbrush and toothpaste
• Shampoo or shower gel (optional - provided in showers)
• Non-aerosol deodorant, if appropriate
• Nail clippers - not nail scissors
• 1 flannel/sponge
• 1 hairbrush or comb
• A box of tissues 
• 1 duvet (optional) - no bed sheets or mattress toppers
• 1 pillow (optional)
• 1 or 2 duvet covers (optional)
• 1 or 2 pillow cases (optional)
• 1 trunk (available to order from the Uniform Shop)
• Phone card (optional)
• Writing paper and envelopes

Please note that all boarders' clothes, for practical purposes, are washed on a 40 degree cycle and tumble-dried.   Please label all items clearly. The School Office and Uniform Shop have labelling instruction sheets.

Boarders should hand in one set of large & small name tapes & identity stickers to matron.
