Heading North Print E-mail

Caldicott, being rural yet conveniently placed for access to Heathrow, London and Oxford,  is about three miles from both the M4 and the M40. Well, yesterday we weren't at all sure about whether the Caldicott Sponsored Walk would take place. The weather forecast was poor, and this morning the rain was described on the BBC forecast as being just south of the M4 and heading north. Well, the right decision was made and, presumably that three miles north of the M4 made all the difference! We took the risk and the walk went ahead, and luckily it remained dry.

This was at the start of the walk, and is one of the few pictures taken which didn't seem to involve a dog.
