The school copies of "Prep School" magazine have just arrived. Of course, with the closing date being 1st June they are keen to get as many good entries as possible, and so a centre spread with the title below has been produced.

A low-resolution picture of these centre pages of the magazine, entitled How to Take a Good Photograph, is reproduced below:

I know you can't read the text, or even see the pictures clearly: the purpose of this is that two of our photographs from one of their recent competitions are used as examples. In the first column B Abdoo is playing the flute, and at the bottom of the third column is Domonic Halladay's picture of a hockey match. The latter won the competition (though Domonic moved to Lancaster with his parents before the presentation), and the former was one of the special mentions that same year.

We have won this competiton twice. The first was when Tolu and Tobi (twins) were doing a science experiment together. It was so long ago that it was taken with a 1Mp camera, a top-range model then!

In the next few days some of the boys' pictures will be published. Unfortunately only two from any boy can be entered. Though I and the photographer will make the choice about which are entered, comments and suggestions will be welcomed to agp (@caldicott.com), and will definitely be taken into account.
