Ski Trip

The Caldicott Ski Trip to Les Deux Alpes was a great success. There were so many gloomy reports about the lack of snow that we were seriously worried that we would be hiking in the mountains. However there was no need to worry because the resort is very high and there had been a dump of snow the week before. We had six days skiing in glorious sunshine. Everyone enjoyed themselves on the pistes and made great progress with their skiing so that everyone was able to get up to the glacier and many showed their ski jumping skills in the famous Snow Park. We ate delicious meals in the Hotel du Soleil, bought masses of sweets at Sweeties (aka Bonbons Fins), enjoyed ice dodgems, outdoor swimming, ice skating and ten pin bowling. Everyone arrived back safe and sound for Christmas.
