- Go north on the A355 to join the M40, heading west (Oxford)
- Join the A40 at Junction 8
- At the first roundabout on the A40 take the first exit, signposted Ring Road
- At the roundabout where the Ring Road meets the A34, follow signs for Wootton and Boar's Hill.
- Follow this road for half a mile until the turning on the right, signposted Boar's Hill and Wootton
- Follow this road for 2 miles until you reach a T junction
- Turn left and immediately right into Honey Bottom Lane
- Follow this road until you reach The Merry Miller pub on your left
- Cothill House is on your right, opposite the pub
