A Mad Hatters Tea Party

20 June 2017

The annual Caldicott Summer Fete was once again a fantastic event for the whole school community.  The weather was glorious and everyone was in good spirits raising money for this year’s chosen charity “The Flying Seagull Project”.

Chosen by the Charity Committee, “The Flying Seagull Project” visit children around the world preforming circus acts that help them, for a few moments, forget about their difficulties, smile and laugh.

This year’s theme was the “Mad Hatters Tea Party”.  All boys, staff, parents and other family members were able to take part in a variety of activities from shooting balloons with darts to eating donuts on string.  There was also the hotly contested Caldicott Cake Competition and sweet stalls.

The boys did a remarkable job devising their stalls, setting up and successfully raising a fantastic amount of money for charity.  The final total was £2417!
