2nd Form Learn First Aid

14 February 2019

On Wednesday 13 February, the 2nd Form had a visitor from St John Ambulance to take them through a First Aid course.

In the three hour session, the boys learnt some core skills they need to administer first aid, which included casualty care and who to contact in an emergency or when someone has had an accident, the recovery position and what to do if someone is injured, bleeding or needs bandaging.

As the nation’s leading first aid charity, St John Ambulance believes that every young person should have the chance to learn vital life-saving skills. The boys were definitely put through their paces and learnt a great deal of information, which they will be able to take back to their families and help if an emergency arises.
