With Caldicott sending its largest ever team to the IAPS Judo Tournament this year, there was the feeling that it was going to be a big occasion.

After travelling to Bishopsgate, the 15 Caldicott boys were separated into groups based on age, weight and rating; for many of them it was their first ever appearance at IAPS. With great performances all-round and many tightly contested matches, we collectively achieved a final medal tally of 5 golds, 4 silvers and 7 bronzes which represents a best-ever performance for the school (surpassing last year’s tally of 2 golds, 4 silver and 4 bronzes). This is an incredible achievement and so a massive congratulations to all the boys involved!
