Our annual Rugby Dinner is always a great time to come together and celebrate the year of rugby at Caldicott so far, as well as  invite back old friends, and look beyond.

The 70th Caldicott Rugby Dinner on Thursday night was no different. It was a joy to get together with Caldicott’s U13As (and their parents), professionals from other prep and senior schools, as well as some Old Caldicotians who starred in rugby teams of the past. The three-course meal and drinks reception were a great treat, and we thank our Catering and Housekeeping Teams for all their efforts.

We were also treated to a Q&A with Alex Lozowski, who joined us for the evening. Alex is a professional rugby union player under Saracens, as well as capping for the England squad and so he was in a great position to provide insight into the life of a professional rugby player playing at the top level. Some excellent speeches were heard, with our captain of Rugby (Montgomery CS) and Mr Williams sharing stories and ensuring it was a thorough celebration of Caldicott rugby.
