We’ve been delighted to host a Maths and Science Olympiad today for a number of prep schools. It’s been a joy to see the Caldicott boys interact with boys and girls from other schools on a range of challenges. All the children engaged positively and I’m very grateful to Mr Querstret for organising the event. Naturally it adds to the experience that the Caldicott boys did so well!

Half term is upon us and I invite you to take a moment to consider whether you can join us for the some events we host in the second half of term where parents are invited. From either the online or in-person parents’ evenings, to the Prep School Monologue Slam (Tuesday 27 February), to various Rugby Tournaments, to our Concerto Concert (Wednesday 13 March), to the Spring Concert (Tuesday 19 March) it is set to be busy and exciting for all. You play an important part of making the atmosphere that the boys enjoy.

It has been a very rewarding first half of term and the successes have come thick and fast. It’s hard to pick a favourite moment, but with two boys achieving a music diploma, Stanley being awarded a Music Scholarship to Eton College and Yassar gaining a Music Scholarship to Harrow, then our Music Department must take a bow. Bravo!

If you are able to take a break, too, then I hope you have a great time with your families.
