Welcoming 55 OCs, along with a number of OC parents, back to Caldicott for our annual OC Charity Football Tournament has to be one of the highlights of the Summer Term.

The OCs played a round-robin tournament in their original house teams out on our glorious top field. The event has been cancelled the previous two years due to Covid, and so it meant a great deal to everyone to be back together again.

All teams tried their very best but only one team could be victorious. The final standings were:

1st – Cooper

2nd – Wood

3rd – Jenkins

4th – McArthur

The event was followed by our action-packed Parents vs Staff Football Fixture. The parents were 2-0 up until the closing stages when Mr Di Maso pulled out a hattrick and won the staff the game. Parents 2 – Staff 3.

We had some brilliant feedback from parents, such as…

“This type of event I think is so important to keep the Caldicott community strong but also help the OCs appreciation of what an amazing prep experience they had.”

“Thank you for all your hard work in bringing the boys and parents altogether again, so many of us left during Covid & never had the chance for that last hoorah so thank you!!”

“A truly wonderful evening, so special and I know everyone who was there thought exactly the same – and we were all ‘booking’ the boys in mentally for next year too. Thank you to you both – a beautifully organised evening and cannot wait until next year!”

Thank you to everyone for their support and kind words. We are looking forward to next year already.
