We recently celebrated the news that Rudra, one of our 6th Formers, secured a King’s Scholarship at Eton for next year. But it’s not just current boys being recognised by the college; we’ve had news that four OC’s have been elected into the Eton Society (or ‘Pop’), another into the Sixth Form Select, and one more has been made President (Head Prefect)!
The ‘Pop’ is an exclusive group of boys who effectively act as School Prefects; it is a great honour to be elected and doesn’t only show a boy has exceptional academic qualities, but also a resolute character. We’re incredibly proud of the four OCs that have secured places in the prestigious body, as well as Freddie BS (OC 2017-19) who has been elected as President! In addition, Lucas P (OC 2013-19) has been elected into the Sixth Form Select, an elite academic group, and just like the boys in the Pop, this privilege gives him the opportunity to have some freedom in customising his waistcoat.
To see OCs flourishing in one of the top senior schools in the country is incredibly encouraging and a testament to all those mentors along the way who have helped them be the very best versions of themselves.
