The 1st VII have started the intense rugby sevens season well as they prepare for the national schoolboy sevens at Rosslyn Park in just 10 days’ time. The boys have successfully defended the St. John’s Northwood and Dulwich Prep sevens, along with clinching the Port Regis sevens trophy on Wednesday for the first time in Caldicott’s history. The boys defeated Millfield in the final 19-12 in a hard fought victory that will prove to be great preparation. Tomorrow they visit The Downs School in Bristol, ahead of the Caldicott Sevens on Wednesday. It would be great to get as much support for the boys as possible for our home tournament which starts at 1300; the more cheering Caldicott supporters the better!!
