On Wednesday 26th November, the U13 A squad travelled to take part in the Wellington College Prep Schools U13 Open competition. This is a very big and highly competitive tournament with the highest quality prep schools rugby in the area on display.
We were placed in a very competitive group, and were tasked with playing the likes of Moulsford, Millfield, Colet Court and The Oratory Prep. We managed to finish in second place and progressed through to the semi-final to face the winners of the other pool; Hampton School.
This was a tough game, which we edged 5-0 to progress to the final, eventually running out 19-0 victors against a strong and well organised Oratory Prep Side.
Well done to all the 19 boys who represented Caldicott Rugby so well.
