I hope that you all were able to see the merit in the way we delivered our U12 and U13 Rugby Sevens tournament last week. As I said to the boys, the players and the sport had little to do with it as the majority of the boys in the 5th and 6th Form were hosts, pitch managers, touch judges and so on. It was a great afternoon and by the end the boys had witnessed first hand the need for impressive logistics and organisation. I have no doubt in my mind that it was a great educational moment.

Our ski team were away this week in Passo del Tonale, Italy, for the IAPS National Championships and I’m delighted to say that when I welcomed them back a moment ago we had a gold medal! Huge congratulations boys and my thanks to Mr Harper and Ma’am McDonald for taking them.

It has been British Science Week and World Book Day over the course of the last few days and I am so pleased that a good number of boys entered into the fun and opportunities on offer. Such initiatives really take their learning outside of the classroom and the boys love it. Many thanks to Ma’am Stratton and Ma’am Elson for the work they have put into the experiences.

Have a good weekend.
