Narrowing it down to the 2nd Form Declamation finalists on Friday was challenging enough, but then selecting winners on the day proved an even tougher assignment for Mr Evans, who was blown away by the quality on display.
Parents, staff and our Lower School boys watched on in the Chapel as the 2nd Form finalists had their chance to recite the pieces they’ve been learning for the last few weeks. We were treated to such a variety on show, from sombre performances, to comedic ones. Mr Banks led a round of applause for Mr Evans, who gave meaningful, personalised feedback to every boy that performed.
Congratulations belong to every boy who has learnt a piece, as well as all of those who entertained us in the finals. The winners of the day are as follows:
