The Lunchtime Concert is always a great opportunity for boys earlier on in their musical journey to gain some experience performing in front of a crowd. We’re very happy to announce that they made the most of their time in the spotlight and performed impressively.

The Music Department has been a hive of activity this term. Following on from the diploma success just before Christmas for two of our violinists, we have a large group of boys preparing to take their ABRSM exams this week. Scholarship success has also been rife in the Music Department; three boys have had the good news so far, with a scholarship to Eton, another to Harrow and a Music Exhibition to Oundle. We are thrilled to see the boys’ hard work and dedication paying off in such wonderful ways.

Our Lunchtime Concert saw two of our ensembles performing (the Middle School Choir and 3rd Form Guitar Group) with performances interspersed from some of our talented soloists. With our wonderful Concerto Concert and 2nd and 3rd Form Production next week, and Spring Concert the week after, there are still so many opportunities to hear the boys perform before the end of term. We look forward to welcoming you to these occasions.
