Armed with knowledge from their lessons on early Norman castles, many of the 4th Form set out to construct their very own defensive fortifications, consolidating their learning on the topic and having a lot of fun in the process.

The boys came up with all sorts of creative methods of decorating and constructing their battlements and towers. It was amazing to see so many of the boys choose to take part in this optional project over the Lent half term break. The only downside was that they gave Mr Legge and Ma’am Venter-Murray a very difficult job in selecting the winners, who are listed below…
